Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has gotten the screen shot function to work on the I5500 without rooting it or having to plug it into your computer.

Using the hold Home + Power and things doesn't seem to work for me, has anyone had any luck? If so, what am I doing wrong?

I'm on 2.2, I have a bad memory but I am sure I accidentally took a screen shot when I first bought my phone, maybe I imagined it lol.

I've got a diff phone. It can be tricky to get a screenshot. Try holding the buttons in for various times like 3 seconds, the next attempt 4 seconds, then 5 lol

I've searched my phone and I don't see ScreenCaptureService.apk anywhere on it

I guess this feature doesn't come with this phone after all, I must've imagined taking a screenshot lol.

Is it possible to use the ScreenCaptureService.apk from a different phone? Hmm..

I don't know, maybe. There are some screen capture apps on the Market, though the couple of free ones that I tried didn't work very well.
