I'm not following. Do you mean like use a sim card from Sprint or (more likely) Verizon for 4g service?
If so, re-read the second post. It's not going to work, because the card is somewhat different for cdma than your typical GSM SIM card, and the networks use different frequency ranges. So far, the closest we have as far as frequencies are concerned is ATT's upcoming 4g network.

What we have then would be considered a SIM card with a CSIM application.
The other two types would be UMTS and plain old SIM.
