Default GPS on camera gone?

Recently did a hard reset on my Spica (it was slowing to a crawl). But now, I noticed that the GPS capability on my camera is gone!

The GPS activation logo no longer appears in camera mode. GPS still works in other apps (Mapdroid, etc.) but is no longer available when I use the camera.

Suggestions and inputs would be appreciated, TIA.
