Hi,

I was wondering if someone could educate me, Ive got a Galaxy portal that is saying "No Service" when i insert any sim card and after searching around ive found people saying it needs flashing. Before i do this i need to work out if its locked to a network or not. Could somone tell me how to check this please

Hi,

You can check the check SIM lock status by typing *#7465625# into the dail pad & pressing the green handset button.

It doesn't work on mine as it's so heavily modded!!
