which OS to have

so i have 2.3.4 right now. one problem is that it's from china, it doesn't have android market or googleplay. so can someone tell me or give me a link to install a US OS so that i can use the market? this is really annoying

The site that I use to get stock firmware for my Galaxy mini is SamMobile. You do need to register to fully use the site, but it is free.
