Hi lolandroidlol, and welcome to Android Forums.
I can't really answer your first question, I've never heard of that problem before. I may be able to assist you with your second though.
The Galaxy Mini, being a cheap and oldish phone (not that that's a bad thing, I still use mine) has a small amount of available memory. The only way around that is to make sure that all apps that can be moved to the SD card are
moved to the SD card. This will then free up space on your phone's memory, so that you can install more apps. You could also use an app like App2SD
to help you check this.
I found that this was still not enough, however, and if you still find you don't have enough space then I would personally recommend flashing a custom ROM onto your phone, as that free's up a lot of space, and all
apps can be moved to the SD card.
