Maybe NFL network games can be watched in full. Others (ESPN, FOX, CBS) probably only redzone?

You are right. When it used to work on my Dinc, you could watch NFL Redzone or the games on the NFL network. Still forget there are games on the NFL Network. As an Eagles fan, maybe I should forget it this Thursday so I miss them losing to Seattle.

In store, hitting the same sites as playing with a razor and rezound, they beat my D2, but not by all that much. So, unless I missed a specific reason to not consider it, the D3 is great, and it shows up on my upgrade page for $99. A great deal for what it is.
The phone's too thick for her, and she wasn't too crazy about its keyboard either. I did tell her that her options would be quite slim as far as good keyboards these days, even in a feature phone.

Just texted my brother who works for VerLIEzon ::snickers::. Anywho, told him that pre orders were going out for the phone tomorrow (he wants it too) and he said there's no way. They haven't heard anything about it yet.

i know most people dont like the "my guy says so and so" release date. but for those who care, my guy said "either the end of this week or the end of next week", and said he expected a preorder

This is an absolute non-starter for me. I can't think of a phone that I haven't replaced the battery after 1 year. I have a feeling people are gonna be a bit feisty about their RAZR's battery life in a year.
Yeah, I switch off between a few OG batteries and one of them seems to be about done. Glad I can replace it for about $3.
(Not posting a video link here, but responsible adults can find it, blah blah...)

I won't be staying up for the possible Pre-order tonight. But Verizon was asked point blank if there was going to be a Pre-order tomorrow and they gave no comment. You would think that Verizon could at least deny if it weren't happening tomorrow. Their complete refusal to even comment on the next day is just silly IMO. If it does happen, what advantage does not putting out a simple press release give them. I can't believe things are so flexible that they don't make the decision till the day of.

I just headed to my local Authorized Retailer store (read: NOT a corporate store, but a very similar retailer, Cellular Connection - Home) to ask about moving an upgrade up. The guy said he could only move it up a week, etc. etc. but then I asked him about the Nexus. When it would come out, if they got anything in, etc. and he told me that "[he] was actually just given the ability to pre-order three GNexi tonight. I know you're all thinking that this is the guy who got the notice for 50 GNexi but I asked him about that and he said it was screen protectors and cases, not the actual phones... BUT I asked if I could see the computer screen for proof to share with you guys, and while his manager was standing over his shoulder and wouldn't let me take a picture, I DID see that he was able to order [a whopping] three (3) SCH-i515's. No mention of when they would be available, but considering he was just able to order them, we could be seeing pre-orders online at midnight tonight or tomorrow.
BTW this guy gave me the DInc one day before it was released in stores, so I believe him... also he said he would set up a shipping notification for his phone, email, and text so he could call me literally the moment the phones come into the store. You would think if he was the average sales rep he would just try to sell me a RAZR or the like, but he was serious about this and was as excited as I am.
Take it FWIW, I know a lot of you will probably disregard it, but this is a serious news tip, from a verifiable source; I saw the pre-order form with my own two eyes.

I side with you. No surprise. It is telling of how they are handling it."They" might not even know themselves. Silly is a great word though, very representative in this time!

When have you ever seen a PR rep make a official statement before an official announcement? The reason they're saying "no comment" is probably because something's on the horizon. They would have said "we don't have any information to share at this time" had they not known a single thing... just my analysis of this.
BTW didn't mean to come off as attacking your thoughts. Just saying what I think as well
We'll see about the pre-order date, I'm with P3Droid, I would think that there would be some announcement. There was with the A855, but release is the week of 12/12 or 12/16. Oh wait, that's the same week. No production units in the states until 11/30.

I think that is great if true and you can get one, but I wouldn't put up the store website/link for others to see it might be bad for the store/manager/etc...

ok.... i have a serious question for you guys/girls. what if they do like the razr and simply allow you to pre-order it but dont give you a release date still? would you pre-order it knowing how they have pushed it back thus far and are likely to do so again, or would you wait for them to announce a release date and then preorder it? i for one will not preorder anything without them also stating a release date

Well, to be fair, he's at an authorized reseller, so their sales are probably not as tied to VZW corporate sales requirements/targets.
Promising news, though. *fingers crossed*

Can anyone please point me to a time when Verizon started a preorder without there being hard evidence (such as a PR)?
I'm not entirely sure about this, but I would think that they could issue a PR stating that the phone is available for pre-order, and give us a release date... my point is they've already announced the phone is coming to their network, so what other PR should they have to release besides one announcing a pre-order/ship date?

Exactly, every time I've seen a preorder in the past, it wasn't "Sprung". It was known about before time, and it went live with customers knowing about it in advance.

Good point. But unless my Dinc decides to completely die, I'll pre-order and wait for the release...perhaps not forever though.
I wouldn't count on a press release at midnight... And there's no way a preorder will start without a press release... However, as I mentioned in several previous posts... An announcement WILL come tomorrow with a release date of 12/8.

They need to hurry up and release this phone! I just realized I missed another phone call today and this time it was HR calling about a job I interviewed for. The only reason I realized I had a missed his call is because I just missed another call and when I checked my voicemail his message was on there too. My battery isn't making it through the day anymore either.

I'm sorry to say, but pre-orders at Authorized Retailers mean absolutely nothing. There are a few here who have already pre-ordered thier GNex's from ADs weeks ago. It didn't help then, and it won't help now.

You're right. 1 thing does happen tonight at midnight. We hit single digit days
Edit: although every day that goes by eats a little bit more of my optimism. I'm still on board for 12/8 release though.

It's not that I pre-ordered the phone from them. It's that they were given the ability to order stock to be shipped to the store.
