I know a lot of people find it funny so I won't complain too much. I'll just look for GNex news elsewhere during the day.
What happened to the campaign to add a slap button?
Poking around on Verizon's Testman site I discovered this, We gotta be close!!!
I made that photo a few weeks ago. It wasn't well received. Careful. I have perfected it now though it's muy authentico now. If you want let me know and I'll PM you the link. It's not real but it really is nice to see what it will look like when it's posted for real.

Unrelated to your post, but there is one thing about your avatar that bothers me... Every time I see it I am confused if it is Han or you posting... haha.

BTW this is an awesome thread over on XDA regarding battery life (in Airplane mode). You can see that in Airplane Mode with a white image on max brightness the phone died in 5h 00m, but when changed to a black background the phone died in 10h 47m.

I just can't win on this board no matter what I say or do. I try to add a little levity to our situation and people hate me. I guess my mom was right... I am unlovable.

I asked for the slap button twice, HanS asked for at least a dozen times, and BabyBlues has asked earlier today I believe.
So where is the slap button?

Lol. Sorry. It'll change tonight and you'll be unconfused again.

I find it funny. I am all about cutting up though. People often need to lighten up most of the time. Life is too short to get annoyed over a joke.

From what my son tells me (works VZ tech support) most if not all current 4g LTE devices have some data connectivity issues. VZ does not have a firm idea of the actual issue, some thoughts are the network or current LTE chipset, but he told me that every call he took about the Razr one day this week was a lost data connection issue.
With that in mind....if the bug that VZ is working on with the Nexus is in fact as P3Droid says has to do with better connectivity then I think its a good thing they figure it out now before they release it.
If almost or all devices have such issues to date though I think it could also just be a good cover for the real reasons you are holding it has been my point. I find it almost impossible to believe it could be worse than the Charge and that device is plenty good enough so long as you understand LTE is still new tech and not going to be 100%.
The whole fact this is such a big tech support issue with all devices and they don't know what is causing it makes me quite skeptical it's the reason they are holding the device so much as it's just an easy excuse to hold it for reasons that would make most quite unhappy if leaked.
I can attest to these being really nice. I got them for my girlfriend last year and she loves them. Still not quite as accurate as bare fingers, but they definitely work quite well.

Ugh, don't put that kind of guilt on me! lol I'm sure I'm in the minority.

Probably been asked before but, anyone know how long the double data offer will be available? I have unlimited for my line but I'm considering porting another carrier line to Verizon..double data for it would be nice.

I was looking at those - have you had a chance to try them out yet? or are they hiding under the tree/menora/pagan holiday bush/etc?
I've been thinking of getting some too. FWIW, the ones on the Verizon site (here) look quite nice and are about the same price as Isotoner smarTouch gloves that I found on Amazon.

Not a huge deal. I didn't even have a huge problem with it, but it did have 2 problems.
1. It was just done yesterday (probably not your fault, might've missed it), so it wasn't as funny as it could've been
2. I would equate it to yelling $2 waffle iron on Black Friday, but in reality it was like taking a shot of pepper spray to the face. The thread is on edge after a couple nibbles of good news.
Really, more than anything...just bad luck on the timing. We don't hate you or anything. At least I don't

It's real - it's under the compatible devices tab on the accessories page like someone had already posted.
Hey Chief, if you scroll down a little, you'll see more accessories for the SAMSUNG GALAXY NEXUS. To the right of that, there is a VIEW ALL link. That get's you the 15 accessories. Don't know how long there have been that many though. Still cool find Scott.

If this Nexus comes out in less than a week then i believe it will be the first instance of a phone getting pregnant from at least 3-5 people on this forum alone.

Yup. You can call or log in with your pre-order info to determine if it's in shipping status. If not, you can cancel with no problem. Did the same to my RAZR pre-order when it was obvious it'd be easier to walk to the Verizon store than have to trek out to FedEx to pick it up, not that I ended up buying it anyhow
