Also, did you say the rep told you that you have 14 days from activation to return it? We know that's incorrect, so you might want to find someone else to work with.
No, they got that right. That's why I was unsure whether they were correct/incorrect regarding the rest...I surely don't know enough about the finer points of their contracts to know!
My exciting tech purchases usually make the car before being opened lol
That's about as far as I usually get.
1) buy high tech item
2) go to car
3) open item in car
4) scan what's in the box
5) stop at restaurant and really go over items in box while eating (this step is especially important when cold weather hits and I don't want to freeze in a cold car or waste gas by sitting in a running car to be warm.
With Galaxy Nexus I will most likely have to order it online so that I get a corporate related discount and am able to have the activation fee waved.

HA! 4am. Who can beat it? Come on, I know someone can.
Sidenote: following that I'll continue to work until midnight (so long as the flights are on time). And that's just job 1. Job 2 is... well, every hour between then hahaha. I also have a daughter that lives 500mi away that I make every effort possible to be in contact with (including traveling to and from there to spend time with her/ pick her up to bring back here etc). My life = time-suck!

Yeah I'll be ordering online too. On an employee account so it's just easier and no activation fee online
No, he got a new phone today to play with. No idea what it is.

I think at this point it's easier to just list the movies BB has seen.

No whining! hahaha
4am should only be seen if you are on night shift or are still up from a night out.
I commend you on the effort you put into staying in touch with your daughter.

Yep. His new toy is a tablet. I thought it was the Xoom2, but he did say Prime. So that's my guess.
Didn't he say he could fit it in his pocket? My guess is someone asked if he had a prime and he said it won't fit in a pocket. My guess is a smaller tablet or a note.

So I'm not eligible for my upgrade discount until 12/27, but like everyone else on here really want to order the nexus the second I can. Has anyone had luck pushing an upgrade up recently? I had luck the last two times I upgraded, but have been running into issues this time around.

I don't know, there was this very brief moment where I thought I could tolerate it as a phone... then I had a dream where I was...
and I thought better. It may not be all that bad in the hand but seriously, imaging walking around with something that size next to your face as you conduct a phone call. And no, I have no interest in utilizing bluetooth earpieces 100% of the time.

Yes, yesterday he referred to a transformer prime coming in the mail today
Doubt it's the Asus Transformer Prime...he mentioned earlier a dual core 1.5ghz device for VZW LTE...the prime has the "Kal-el" Tegra 3 quad core processor...he also just tweeted it has a Super Amoled HD screen which would suggest a Samsung device...but from his tweets it's definitely a Tab and not a phone...
