Sorry you had a bad day yesterday. The good news is, the sun came up today...oh wait...that's not good news for you, is it? Crap...I got nothin'. Sorry.

Yuck! Synthetics can't replace the real thing as far as taste goes. Besides, we don't really "harvest" humans. Where do you think the Red Cross came from?

SPF 10,000 is pretty good stuff and winter reduces the UV levels so it is all good. Bright and sunny here today.
Haha, I'm stuck with my WVGA Touch Pro2, so I guess I shouldn't be dissing qHD, but it has been getting a bad rap recently. My friend's T-Mo HTC Sensation's qHD screen is pretty nice though. However, I think I noticed a green hue. *shrug*
Whatevs, GN is getting 720p, that's all that matters to me
That green hue is a known early production defect - encourage your pal to consider a replacement.
Just my opinion.

The best tablet / stylus combo in Android I know of is the HTC Flyer. Don't know if it will do what you want, but you can use it to mark up content, then save results as a PDF.
I know these ?'s are off topic, but last one I promise, this is an example of my spray charts...imagine it blank, and needing to write on them what you see written. Were you saying I'd need an htc flyer tablet, or is there an app that I could get for the new asus transformer that could do this??

Keep in mind, that's just an article and not an official spec sheet. Not unusual for an article to miss a detail like that.
I'd pretty much guarantee that's it would be SAMOLED+.
The reason old phones didn't use SAMOLED+ was because Samsung didn't have the capability to print subpixels at that resolution. Once they refined thier process, pretty much everything coming off the line is SAMOLED+ now. Can you think of a recently released phone using an AMOLDED display that doesn't use the + version? I find it highly unlikely we'll se qHD screens in anything but RGB configurations from here out.
GNex is in the same boat. Samsung can't print HD screens with 3 subpixels at that resolution. So we're stuck with pentile.
I thought the Razr was pentile at qHD resolution.
Samsung is squeezing out all they can from their shadow mask process, and it was optimization of it that led to RGB stripe at WVGA resolutions. Really, the LITI masking process is totally capable of RGB stripe down to the densities required for 720p at 4.3". Shadow mask will never get there, hence the pentile HD display. I guess they just haven't ramped up the new process to full production, or the line got delayed. I'll see if I can find more info on that.
Yeah I don't really understand LTE tablets, unless you only use a dumbphone. The cost of a subsidized LTE tab is the same (or more) than a wifi one, and you can tether cheaper than you can get a tab data plan, AND no contract for tethering...

Have been out of the Nexus loop for about a week...
11/21 now? What
Any revision in specs for the VZW version like people were thinking?
Rumor is a 100mAh bump in battery, but no confirmation yet I don't think. And 11/21 is still just a rumor, but the latest one we have had. 17th is still a possibility though, for the optimistic among us.

I actually made a turkey yesterday and we had a "practice" Thanksgiving. Everything turned out excellent and it was a really nice meal. Now we have about 12 lbs of left over turkey to eat this week.

I know that there are apps for this in the Windows tablet world, but I don't know about similar apps in Android.
The HTC Flyer has a unique approach to stylus integration, it's way cool. Check it out on YouTube. You could do that on one of those.
Given that you posted a baseball diamond (fan here) plus we're talking about Android, plus for all we know, the solution might so impress your student's dad that he might spill some more Gnex beans - that's 3 for 3 on-topic in this crowd!

Practice Thanksgiving. I like that. I may have to employ that with other holidays, preferably those where I receive gifts.

As I am most likely this forum's sole Cleveland Browns fan, I see the true reality in this clip, more so than the humor. That said, I am now cleaning the screen of my Thundetbolt after spitting coffee all over it.
Go Browns an keep the faith Browns Backers world wide.
Edit: After reading on, I see I'm not alone. Comforting.
i am also an Indy Colts fan, double whammy this year...lol

Yeah, we had a practice meal last weekend too. More like practice Christmas though, we had Spiral cut ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, field peas, macaroni and cheese (real not blue box), and crescent rolls.

If you're tethering then your carrying your phone with you as well. If I'm offsite at work I don't always carry my personal phone, work phone, and tablet. Having the freedom of not having to carry multiple devices is nice.

I would never go anywhere without my phone. Business use is the only thing I can see where a tab data plan makes sense, either the tab is for business, or the phone is for business, and therefore can't tether, and don't want to carry two phones. Which I guess is you.

Sounds very good.
We had a Turkey, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes (from scratch), gravy, black eyed peas, corn bread and stuffing. It all turned out great.

You know, the Red Cross might do better if they had TV ads showing starving vampire babies and playing sad music like the World Hunger folks do with mortals... Just Sayin.

Why am I here, when I know full well that there will not be any news until after the RAZR launches? I am a glutton for punishment!!!
Cause something is nagging you in the back of your head that the moment you decide not to check in for a couple days, something is going to leak, and you will have suffered for that extra time and missed the jubilant posts around here.

Note "an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich FOTA update will make its way to the tablet in early December."
So, please correct me if I'm wrong. But first the Nexus must be released, then Android 4.0 code is released, then other devices can run it. Correct?
So for those three things to happen in that order, in a timely fashion, we are looking at a November release for the GN. The only questions remains, I guess, is will VZW be included in that scenario? I say yes... and I say 11/21 web only and 11/28 in the stores. Come on baby... make it happen VZW!!!
Do want!!

So after man-handling the RAZR last night... and sleeping on it (not the actual phone). I realized like what someone else said that it is just too wide and thin to be comfortable. I know... that's what she said. I think that thin isn't always better. Moto opted away from ergonomics in replace of specs (thinness). It may look good on paper... but not as comfortable to hold. A phone should feel like it just "fits" in your hand.
