Awesome Skin. I am using this and it's incredible. Best protector I've ever seen/used. It fits the edges and my case goes right over so there are literally ZERO edges showing besides the speaker/light cut out. I asked my roommate to play with my phone (he has a Gnex as well that's 100% naked) He just looked at my shit and played some games for almost 10 minutes. I took it away and asked him if he liked my screen protector. He laughed. He couldn't even tell I'd installed it. This was next day of application. They are crazy smooth, crazy easy to install, slight and I mean almost microscopic on the orange peel effect (and I can ONLY see it when the screen is off), completely clear with zero blurring/miscoloration. Only downside I see is that oils from my skin stick to it a bit more than the regular glass. But far less than any other screen protector I've ever used/seen.

I will buy another. Roommate also bought one. I am now an XO kid for life. Excellent product.

Just ordered mine. Loving the positive reviews. Can't wait to get it.

Any tips for applying it or are the instructions included?

Re: the 50% off coupon - in order to use the code "cyberxo2011", you have to use paypal and it will only work after you are back on the xo website. I couldn't use any of the coupon codes listed with google checkout or on paypal's website. I was able to use the discount on xo's website. HTH.

Thanks to everybody who posted reviews here. I decided to order an XO protector for myself. Used Google Checkout, but couldn't get the coupon working :/ Oh well, still not a terrible price, especially if this protector is as good as everybody is claiming.

It comes with instructions. Just make sure you wash your hands really good and keep your fingertips wet.

Is this screen protector better than Ghost Armor? I was thinking about getting that. I currently have the screen protector that came with my tpu case which picks up every fingerprint.

Thank you so much! Just ordered 4 for me and my family. The coupon code still works if you go through google checkout

Edit: The coupon is no longer 50% off but still works.

Got mine and installed it yesterday. Looks great, you can't really tell it's on there!

An observation and a couple tips:
- Maybe my screen protector was cut a little short, but it didn't completely cover the phone from top bezel to bottom bezel. It was probably less than a millimeter difference which to me wasn't a big deal. Paired with the diztronic tpu case the entire area is covered, no open spaces.

-To help eliminate dust, I applied it in the bathroom after turning on the shower and creating a little steam to moisten the air.

- Don't freak out when you first apply it and you still see white spots that look like bubbles after squeeg'ing the screen for excess solution and eliminating air bubbles. It was my first time applying a wet screen protector and I thought I did a crap job, but when I let it sit overnight all of the spots disappeared.

Thanks for this.

Any issues with the solution getting into the phone itself? I hate the idea of wet application protectors for this reason, but would love to hear your thoughts.

I'm not sure where the space between the phone and the bezel leads to, but I guess there's that risk it goes somewhere inside its not supposed to go. The instructions say to power your phone off and take the battery out when applying the protector I'm guessing to prevent something from shorting out.

After applying the protector I was real careful trying to squeegee away from the ear piece since its the only thing really open on the front besides the front camera lens.

I haven't ever had an issue installing these. Just have a paper towel handy to dab and hold your thumb over the speaker when you squeegee near it. Also squeegee away from openings.

Agree on all three points. And when squeegeeing, yes do go away from the earpiece although I had a giant overflow of solution hit the earpiece and it didn't do anything, but maybe I just got lucky.

Also, when you get it. Read the directions and especially the "Tip: xxx" areas.

Just tried this code and although it claims it is good for 50% off through the end of month, the math on the checkout page really only gives 20% off.

I went with the more recently posted sprintxo which gives 30% off and despite the details saying the code should be expired, it did deduct 30% leaving me with a bill of $11.98 shipped.

Thanks AF community!

The 50% code used to be expired, but they must have just re-enabled it for 20%. With either one thats a good friggen deal for the best skin on the market.

BTW... Their Customer Service sucks. I used Google Checkout which had an old address of mine. I know I should have checked the address first. I tried to find a customer care line, but all they had was email. I emailed them twice - once 2 minutes after the order and once that afternoon. I never hear back from them and two days later they send me a shipping notification with the wrong address still.

Between that and their horrid website, I can't recommend these folks. Their product might be awesome, but come on now.

I put on the XO screen protector yesterday and it doesn't affect the screen (as far as I can tell). I do feel a little more drag on my thumb, but I'll probably get used to it after a few days.

However, I'm really annoyed with the speaker cut out. It's too wide! Also, the protector is too short by about 2-3mm. How hard is it to make a product that fits exactly right?!

It makes my baby look like some cheap Android that I bought off the street.

I'm looking at the website and there's a product called "Samsung Galaxy Nexus Screen Protector" and another one called "Samsung Galaxy Nexus Screen Protector Case Fit."

Which one did you guys order and what's the difference between the two, if any?

The site says the case fit is smaller.

I ordered the non-case fit and it still doesn't fit right.

It's wide because it allows the ambient light sensor and the proximity sensor to be unfettered by the screen protector plastic...

Got mine today... followed the directions... i think i did everything ok, drying now as i type this. small bubbles and clouding are normal while drying right? Those will go away? And if i completely mess this up, can i re-do it, or is it useless? thx.

i just put mine on a few minutes ago. i actually peeled it off and sprayed it down again and refit probably 4-5 times lol.

i was getting bubbles. seems like the key is spray both sides per the instructions and push out the bubbles wit the card while it's really wet.

now it looks great

the method of application looks a lot like applying window tint. soapy solution with squeegee.

with tint, in the first 48 hours it may have bubbles.

my XO's in the mail. THe diztronic one doesnt completely cover the face.

neither does my xo skin. it leaves the bottom 1/8inch unprotected as well as a little on the side edges.

i just re checked my order, i did indeed select the galaxy nexus one, and it does look exactly like the one pictured on their website......

Meh, I thought my installation went fine (followed all instructions/tips, squeegied all the bubbles) but when I woke up and checked out the screen after 9 hrs of drying I have large bubbles on my screen. I suppose I just did something wrong. According to the website, large bubbles after a couple of hours of drying time are set in and so I'll have to request a replacement.

I also thought the protector had a slight/subtle rubbery feel to it that would take some getting used to. If they send me a replacement, hopefully the installation will go better. If not, may go with boxwave.

Just an update to be fair... they told me they corrected the shipping address. Now, I don't know if they just send a second screen protector to my address or if they were able to intercept the order. Either way, they did the right thing. Next time, I am ordering them through Newegg.

That is exactly why. There was a topic on this a while back how screen protectors would interfere with the light sensors.

It makes my baby look like some cheap Android that I bought off the street.
It looks like I somehow ended up ordering the Case Fit screen protector as well. How bad is the gap at the bottom? Do you have a case on it with the screen protector? If so, does it at least hide the non-covered part?

it's about a 1/8 inch gap at the bottom with the xo skin. i have no clue why there's several posters on here (including the OP) claiming that it covers every edge of the screen. it doesn't. there's even a little on each of the side edges of the screen unprotected.

it still feels like a plastic screen protector.

my impression of it is it's less grainy than the invisishield, but the invisishield feels smoother to the touch, not as sticky. (yes, i cleaned off the adhesive)

i have the belt holster case from verizon with it, btw, and it does protect the entire screen.

So the version of the XO you purchased is the Case Fit as well?

That's unfortunately not true. I learned today that I somehow ended up ordering the Case Fit version, which is trimmed back to allow for a case. I was really annoyed since I could have sworn I used the link at the top of this thread, which is to the full version.

Full Screen version: Samsung Galaxy Nexus Screen Protector [Samsung Galaxy Nexus Screen Protector] - $13.46 : Screen Protector | Screen Protectors | Shield | XO Skins

Case Fit version: Samsung Galaxy Nexus Screen Protector Case Fit [Samsung Galaxy Nexus Screen Protector Case Fit] - $13.46 : Screen Protector | Screen Protectors | Shield | XO Skins

I agree. The website does not make it clear at all unless you read the full description, which, when buying a screen protector, I'm sure most people don't do (particularly when the website uses such terrible colors for reading).

Do you have a case on yours? Either way, any chance you can throw up a quick picture of what the protector looks like on your phone?

Just got my shipment...all I found in the package was the solution and the instructions. I used their website's response form earlier today and have yet to hear a response back. I dont think its unreasonable of me to ask them to overnight a new skin. Does the number posted earlier actually work?

When I searched the XO website for "Samsung Galaxy Nexus" the day after the Galaxy Nexus was released there was only one skin listed. The "Case Fit" skin was apparently not available then. I placed an order for the XO Skin via newegg.com. I also ordered the Seidio Surface case later that day from Seidio.

This past Friday at 4:00 PM I installed the XO skin. I followed the installation instructions plus I made use of the hot shower trick to reduce dust. Upon completion I was not very happy as there were maybe a dozen small air bubbles under the skin. I kept the squeegee moistened but I was not able to remove the bubbles. This was the first wet skin that I had installed. I was concerned.

The next morning at 8:00 AM (16 hours later) I picked up the phone and 2 or 3 of the bubbles had dissipated but the rest remained. Two of them looked like dust particles under the skin - at least they looked like dust particles looked on the Verizon screen protector on my OG Droid. I was still concerned even to the point of having resigned myself to a failed experiment. I was wrong!

By 2:00 PM, all the bubbles had completely disappeared - every one of them. The application was perfect. I was and now am completely delighted! I learned that time and patience is definitely needed with an XO Skin installation.

Next up: install the Seidio Surface case. Would it scrunch up the skin because the skin was not the "Case Fit" skin? No, it didn't lift it up at all, at least so far. The combo seems to work perfectly well together. I can't guarantee that with a week or two of use that an edge won't start to lift but I have hope. And if it does lift I will purchase the Case Fit version of the XO Skin.

I also observed that the day after I installed the skin that the XO Skin felt slightly tacky when my fingers touched it and slid across it compared to the feel of the dry Verizon screen shield on my OG Droid. But today, 2 days after installation, the feel is very slick, just like on my OG Droid. Again, time and patience was required. I am very pleased with this product.

unfortunately, i don't have a way to take a pic, but you want the full size one.

i sent an email to xo skins about it, and they are sending me the full size one free of charge. good service

they really need to change their website, i mean who's going to figure they have two sizes of screen protectors?
