Hello! I just got the Galaxy Nexus yesterday and I'm pretty excited about it.

I was playing with it last night and I activated some kind of glitch...

Under Settings->Developer Options there is a "Pointer Location" option. After I enabled this, I started getting a really odd rainbow flicker... The problem was resolved by restarting the phone, but I wonder if anyone else has experienced this.

I'm also experiencing a periodic red flashing frame around the screen that hasn't gone away.

Looks like a warzone is going off inside your phone, man

Try Settings > Developer Options > Show screen updates

That option is "Flash areas of screen when they update"

That should fix your issue.

Yes I am digging way back in the vault on this one but I had to show thanks. My screen started flickering but only when laid on its back. Doing the above cleared it right up.

i call that Seizure mode. i freaked out my buddy by turning that on on his nexus when he wasn't looking....lol. he was a little scared

I did it to one of my buddies in a dark room once turning the brightness all the way up and gave him the phone. He freaked out.
