Default a good Hotmail app

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a decent Hotmail/Mail notification app? I've got Windows Hotmail installed, but it fails to notify me when new email arrives.
Thanks in advance.

Do you still actually use hotmail? Why? If you say you "need to", then you can always set it to forward all your emails to your gmail account.

I'm a hotmail user. It's just what ya get used to and when ya started. Gmail was lacking and meager when I got my first hotmail address. It's great now though!

deaconrayne have you just tried the stock email app it's very nice a huge improvement over past Google OS iterations. It's true push as well and has quite a plethora of options for your folders.

Really? I got a Gmail account back when it was invite-only and it was already eons better than my Hotmail account and I switched instantly.

I got a gmail back when it was invite only also and hated it compared to my hotmail accounts. I still use my gmail account as my spam account. I guess it's just what you get used to. The stock hotmail account setup works really well.

Default That's not what he asked

To be fair, he asked "why doesn't my hotmail app notify me of new emails".

He didn't ask to be questioned on why he isn't using gmail.

I too have noticed that after a few days of the app being installed it stops notifying me of new emails.

If I uninstall the app and re-install it again it starts notifying me again for a few days and then stops..

Definately a bug.

anyone else have this issue?

Does the hotmail app "push" emails? If not, use K-9 and just set it to poll for emails at whatever intervals you want.
