Default Text on right-hand side of screen

For some reason, there are what appear to be file names (e.g. "com.google.android.browser") on the right side of my screen. There is also a green and red bar that sits above said text, slightly below the notification bar.

Ive checked for viruses, pulled the battery, restarted, uninstalled Astro, but nothing works.

ICS 4.0.2 unrooted.

looks like you have "show cpu usage" turned on to me. to get rid of it, enter the main phone settings, scroll down to developer options, and make sure that the box for "show cpu usage" is unchecked.
