Default Non-Google Play Apps and Google Play Issue

So I accidentally linked my non-Google Play apps to Google Play. Now they keep wanting to update through Google Play, but always fail to authorize.

Anyone know how to delete the link? I use TiBu to link them, and I used it to try to unlink them, but they still show up.

I even uninstalled them, but no dice.

have you tried rebooting? maybe clearing the cache in the market app itself?

I have several Amazon apps that are now linked to Play and won't allow me to purchase or update via Google Play. Mine happened auto-magically though. Last I read on the subject, Google is aware of the problem and is working on it.

I guess that's the best we can hope for. It's rather annoying to say the least.

About 4 of my Amazon apps and a few of my Humble Bundle games are all tied to Google and so desperately want to update.

And I guess the other question to this is: Why doesn't Amazon update their versions of the apps as quickly as the ones in Google Play?

I wanted to buy Soundhound ∞ for $0.99 when Google had the special so I could just get the most up to date version, but since I had "purchased" it on Amazon there was no way to seperate it from my account.

It's not a matter of Amazon or Google updating the apps, it's all developer driven. The developer gives the updated version to the app markets they're on, and sometimes they don't update all their markets. Sometimes they never update a market and you're left with and old purchased version that will never be updated.
