My Phone Just Broke - Check Out These Pictures (What Is This?)

So, I've been having trouble with my phone's battery the past few days (ever since it's been ghost calling the *22899 number and updating my PRL).

Anyway, I just got home, turned on my screen. I went into a menu to see something and the phone did this... (What is this?)

What is this?

Obviously, I will be taking this phone back to Best Buy tomorrow.

The phone will not turn back on. I did not pull the battery.

You should attempt to pull the battery.
This could have been a memory error in the phone.
So taking out the battery will flush the memory. (GOOD THING).

Maybe. But you should try this first. It could have been an error with an external source on your phone like an app. or something like that. Let me know what happens.
BTW:
There is nothing bad that can happen by taking out the battery!

Yea I would try a battery pull first and if that doesn't work get it replaced. It appears to be some kind of problem with the lcd's ribbon cable connection to the mobo though to me so it may actually be hardware, but there is always that possibility it's software related.

I have the phone plugged in, and it won't turn on at all.

Isn't it just easier to bring it to Best Buy and show them that it won't turn on? I am also gonna bring them a picture of this screen.

I don't want any problems down the line.

Take it out back and smash it with a rock and see if it dials 911 na just kidding take it back if you did pull the battery and its still acting up.

Okay I did a little research. You need to dial *228 to update your roaming capabilities. That is what the phone might be trying to do.
Also.. Do you have little to no signal when it happens?

Perfectly? No such thing. It ran so well the other day before this stupid auto-dialing of *22899 that I didn't ask for.

All of my settings and screens are back. I just don't know if the battery is draining like it did before. I imagine that it still is - it seems to be tanking.

My JuiceDefender Ultimate used to read over x2.00, and it's now reading a lame x1.66 - please help me. Thanks.

I would not recommend juice defender. Causes more problems sometimes. And sorry. Im not catching you. What are you asking help with right now?

No, I just figured that if I brought it back to the store and it wouldn't turn on, there wouldn't be much explaining I needed to do. I pulled it since and it came back on.

Okay do you know the number for your company? Call them and tell them the number for the roaming list update/ activation number keeps dialing its self and they'll trouble-shoot your phone right there from the desk!
There is nothing wrong with YOUR phone. Its just a glitch in the system with those phones in general. Hopefully it will get fixed soon.
Been seeing many people posting about it. I feel bad for them,

Ugh, now, I tried to make some calls, and no one could hear me. I had to restart to make it work. So, I should call Verizon before going to Best Buy? I'm just having a whole bunch of problems, and I really don't wanna go through the effort of getting a new phone (with possible banding) and have to argue for a replacement Zagg protector. I will if I have to.
