Default Best music streaming app?

So I've been using the app TinyShark since my D2G days to stream whatever songs I wanted to. Not looking for radios or Pandora or anything like that, but I was just wondering if anyone has a good music app that they use to stream songs other than tiny shark, since I've found their quality to fall off a bit lately. Just curious!

Why not Google Play Music? I assume you mean stream your own songs, since you specifically noted not Pandora or other radio type apps.

Google Music is good, but it has a couple of downfalls. First, the app is available everywhere but the service is only available in the US. Second, no one really knows what the implications of Google's terms of service are for people that download music from 'free' sources. Google has publicly stated that they will remove any 'illegal' songs from your library. Presumably they'll use digital watermarking to identify such songs for which thousands of copies exist on the net. Will Google share this info with the RIAA? Will the RIAA try to obtain access through lawyers someday? Who knows...

I use AudioGalaxy. Streams music from your home computer to you via their remote server. Works fairly well even with limited bandwidth. No lawyers necessary.

+1 for Google Music. Been using it for a year and love it.

As for the other post, I've no problem with Google or anyone else preventing someone from using their services to stream stolen music. No matter how you try to spin it, downloading a song or record from a torrent is no different than walking into a store and stealing the CD.

To be completely honest, I highly doubt they would ever do this. Quite frankly, it far too much trouble what its worth. What if a signature on a legit file matches a pirated one? Besides, unless there was some court order, its in Google's best interest not to screw with peoples music. Stopping music piracy probably isn't too high on Google's priorities.

I stream my music from wolfgangsvault.com
If you like all the old hippy dippy San Francisco sound, King Biscuit Flower hour other Bill Graham Presents stuff, this site will keep you busy for probably the rest of you life, listening to full concerts that most people have never heard...It's free and for a high bandwidth is only 50bucks a year. Worth a checkout if you still have a contact high form the 60's and 70's!! The have an Android app also

Oh hehe I just re-read my OP and I should have specified. For the music I have stored on my phone, I do use Google Music. No complaints with it.

However, I was looking for an app that I can search for a song for, and listen to it. Sorta like a YouTube but audio only. Mainly just so I can listen to a song on the go before deciding to get it or not. Sorry for the confusion =)

TuneIn radio. Easy to use and free. Upgrade for $1 and you have the ability to record and playback music.

We use Sonos or Logitech Squeezebox software for streams. An app for both should be on the Playstore.

If you're willing to pay a small monthly fee, I recommend using RDIO.

I use it here in Brazil ("OI RDIO"), it's awesome.
