So I pulled down the wallet app for my vz gnex some time ago... Now wallet needs an update. Can anyone point me in the right direction?? tia.

Same here. I installed the APK that first came out shortly after the phone. But I keep hearing that if you don't do the new one in the correct way the security thing will screw it up forever (till you get a new phone). I've tried to read how to do it but get conflicting advice.

Have either of you tried the backdoor Play store method? Not sure if it is still working, but would give you the latest version and updates are the same as any other legitimate app?

This link explains it all. Also if this link is successful, it shouldn't cause a problem with your accounts, as I updated from the apk to this with no problem.

I have the latest here.
There is also the coveted Body app from my Xoom.
and the Wifi tether app from Google.

At some point, VZW will put an end to the work-around.

I thought they stopped that a while ago. Thats why I'm afraid to try it. I'm almost positive that way won't work anymore.

tried it,worked ok,but at last step..popup says..not available in your country..UK..pity!

just tried it,worked ok but at the last step,got a popup saying;product not available in your country. oh well,was worth a try.... sorry UK..

i called verizon asking them what was with this stupid No Google Wallet crap then i asked them what their substitution was for it.. they had no answers lol.. WoW... they block an app so they can use something else. and they dont even tell us what that something else is.
