Galaxy Nexus after 4.0.4 update the internet is painfully slow when browsing on the phone, when downloading apps, when loading the play store and even tethering.

Why?

are you getting good signal? i assume your in the same areas that you were before the update. What Carrier are you on?

After getting the update, my Nexus is running slower on all forms of download than my old Droid X 1 would do on 3G with bad signal!! Is it going to be like this until 4.0.5 in another 5 months!! Not paying for data plan to have it this unresponsive!!

You know, im having the same issue right now! i switched over to stock for the day, came home and connected to my wifi to update some apps and was downloading at like 20KB a sec. went over to my router, nearly 1 foot away and only downloading 300kb a sec... and same thing on 3G at about 100KB a sec, not 4G because i cant even stay connected to it -__- im on VZW
