I updated this morning to the fd02 update that sprint sent out and after the update no service no 3g or even the ability to make a call , the phone was working fine before ,so i took the phone into the sprint service center and they had no answer, so they gave me a new phone and said not to update yet . anyone have this problem yet ?

So before FD02 you had no data/service issues? But upon updating to FD02 which is supposed to fix data connectivity issues, you are seeing more of them?

BTW - Please edit your title to include (Sprint) before it so we know which carrier your Nexus is on.

Not sure how to edit title but it is with sprint , and no problems at all before update it worked great for two weeks we bought it on the first day it was released , and we allowed the download and the phone restarted and right away no ability to make or receive calls and no 3 g service , so i I took it right in and there tech said there was a few things floation around their boards about it , and their answer was to give me another phone and told me not to install the update and to wait for a new update whenever that may be .

My Nexus S has unrelenting data connectivity issues, which some Sprint customer service personnel admit is a known issue and others don't. I took mine in to the store, and they said it was fine and wouldn't replace it. Additionally, I have a constant problem with googlemaps when I use it for navigation. It literally has me driving around the block or going the wrong way or loses satellite connection every single time I use it. I see other people complain about the googlemaps app, but not many. Finally, my phone occasionally, on its own, changes to a different language and I can't change it back without a special code. It has changed to Dansk and to Spanish and I find that incredibly disturbing. I tried to register it with Samsung for warranty and my model number wasn't listed as the model number for the Sprint version. I sent an email to Samsung about it, but never had a reply. Any ideas? I would really appreciate some help from a genius in this forum.
