Default weird buggy update

my google nexus got an update on the 8th this month, but it was a weird one because while/after it updated i got the google logo on my screen (the one you get when starting up the phone) and the phone didn't answer to any command and the update didn't end, it remained like that for hours and after a while i got worried and after about 10 hours I got bored and unplugged the charger and went to sleep, after I woke up the battery had died as expected, I charged it again for a couple of minutes, and when I opened the device nothing changed and no data was lost, the operating system was 4.0.2.
So what can i do to get the crash log or any other information about what happened?
