Google Now & Edge Swipe from Soft Keys
I want to start by saying I do like Google Now and its Now cards idea in JB.
But I am annoyed with the feature that trigger Google Now by swiping from the soft keys. It makes some apps' edge enabling features useless.
For instance, I always do that edge-to-edge swipe to switch tabs in Chrome. But when you're in landscape mode, one of that edge is shared with the soft keys. So, when I swipe from that edge, more likely than not, I would mis-trigger Google Now (rather than switching tabs...) I don't think I have a fat finger, but my finger isn't arrow-sharp. It is difficult to determine which side of that boundary is your finger touching and the screen is recognizing... Same thing with the quick control in stock browser.
Yes, I know that you can hit the tab button and switch tab; yes, I know that you can disable quick control. But that isn't my point and it isn't exactly convenient.
I searched everywhere, but couldn't find anyone actually discussing this. Am I the only one picking this bone?
