Screen Issues

So I've had my GNex for a little less than a week now, and so far I'm loving it!

One thing I've noticed though:

Sometimes the screen seems to have a weird burn-in effect.

Where I've noticed it most, in the Play Store. I'll be on the home screen of the store and when I transition to a new page there is a gray screen while the new page loads.

On that gray screen, I can still see a slight image of pictures that were on the previous page.

I've noticed it on some other things too, but this seems to be the most noticable...

Does anyone else have this issue? I'm wondering if it's just becasue its an older type of screen (since the phone is a year old now) ... but its weird because I've never noticed this on any of my previous phones before.

That's normal for an amoled screen. Its called retention as its a temporary ghosting. It typically fades in a few seconds.

Thanks for the reply, I had a feeling it was related to the type of screen... but wanted to make sure it wasn't just my phone!
