The bookmarks on my Galaxy Nexus appear only as thumbnails with only several characters of text displayed. How do I change to a List View like on many other phones?

(There are already a couple of threads on this topic, but they seem to be old and have died.)

This is a feature, or lack thereof, of the stock browser. For example, the Xoom's stock browser doesn't have any options that change the way bookmarks are displayed either.

You could try using an app like CMarks. I use the Lite version on my Desire, because the Gingerbread browser doesn't have Google account syncing features.
