Default Connecting External USB Hard Drive with optional USB adapter?

Hi All

I am just about to order a Galaxy note 10.1 and wanted to check a few things out. In one of the reviews on Amazon the author stated that he could not use is external USB hardrive via the USB adapter cable. Is this correct ? Does this mean there is no `USB Host` facility or is this just confined to powered hard drives? will\does a USB stick still work?

Thanks In Advance

Boothy

Of course there is USB Host function. I used an external battery pack and connected my 750GB HDD without any issues with a dual USB cable; one ofr power and one for data.

I am a BIG fan of Amazon.com they are great to buy from. I trust the reviews people post and the advice they give. I just received my Galaxy 10.1 Notes and am charging it up now.

USB Mass Storage Watcher OTG, but you have to be rooted to read the ntfs, for fat32 don't need root

Using USB Y cable, 5 volt usb power pack, 500 gb hard drive formatted fat32/ntfs

here's the link for USB Mass Storage Watcher OTG
