Default galaxy note 10.1 boot issue

Hi There, my friends galaxy note 10.1 doesnt boot past the boot screen. He said it was working fine over the weekend. Tried to use it today and then this.

Is there a way to factory reset it without needing to boot it up?

Kind Regards

Hi there bazzieb! I moved this over to the Galaxy Note 10.1 section for you because I think you'll find better help there. There's normally a procedure for every device to perform a reset and it's different from one device to the next. Hopefully someone will answer this quickly for you here!

Also, welcome to Android Fourms! Hope you stick around for a while! Great community here and very helpful information can be found!

Press and hold the vol up and power buttons to see if you can get into recovery and hard reset it.

Hello all,

I am having the same boot problem with my galaxy note 10.1. It does not boot pass the startup screen and when charging, the battery displays on the screen but no indication of charging. I have evn done the hard reset (volume up + power botton) but no luck.

Any help from anyone who have had similar issues and resolved it?
