I paid £400 for my 10.1 back in august in the uk, i am now seeing a lot of places pushing this unit for a little over £300 with £50 cashback, curry's are doing £80 cash back if you buy a case with the unit.
i bought mine in curry's but did not buy a case at the time.
Does anyone know, as a customer who has paid the full price at the start, is there any way i can get any insentive and get any cashback now, or is it just for customers wanting to buy it now, when it’s gone right down in price anyway?
it would be nice if i could as i think people who have bought it right away at full price are the customers that Samsung should be valuing
Usually there is only a 30 day period of where you can return a device and get a full refund, typically for some expensive gadgets it can even be only 14 days so i am pretty sure you are out of luck.
This is of course, returning the device without an excuse of...."It's defective"

He's talking about getting 50GBP cashback, not getting his money back and returning the device.
To the OP: You need to check the promotion details, we cannot do that for you.
Hey James, same problem here. I actually bought mine in mid September after being talked into it by a Samsung Rep at Tesco after him saying I would get the £50 cash back, he lied. It wasn't applicable to the 10.1 note then but it is now. Bloody typical. I have a phone number for the promotions team if you want to call and complain. I'm going to. Keep me updated on your progress and I'll do the same.

If you want the most high tech gadgets as they are released, you have to be prepared to pay the full price. Otherwise we could all take stuff like Nokia 3310's back to Carphone Warehouse stating that its worthless now.

Ain't that the truth. Promotions aren't guaranteed at time of purchase and definitely not (to the best of my knowledge) applicable 4 months after purchase.
