Default How do I delete emails from trash using Gmail

Once I have deleted an email it goes into the trash folder, however there seems to be no way of deleting it completely.

Anyone know how to do this??

They get deleted automatically after 30 days.

Or click show all folders then recycle bin and delete them from there.

I was refering to the gmail app.

I setup my gmail account on the inbuilt app which allowed me to delete.
