Update Message

When i check for update thru OTA i get the message "Your device has been modified. Software updates are not available." I already updated thru Kies to 4.1.2 as normal. Has anyone faced same problem?

Did you root it? If so check out my thread here and download, install and run the app towards the bottom of the thread. It should take care of that issue.

No i did not root. Just updated via Kies.

I'm getting the same message when I try to do a software update. I haven't rooted, have minimal software installed. Only thing I can think that might have caused an issue is I have Lotus Traveller installed and it did an update a couple of days ago, perhaps this has locked down the security?

Can I use KIES to update it, how does that work (not tried to install it)

A quick update - I removed the sd card and rebooted and now it seems to be working ok
