Emulating the gnote 10.1

Android roms and all the associated lingo have me a bit confused. I would like to develop for the GNote 10.1. I would like to use the emulator and make it as close to the OS installed on the Note as is possible ( the JB version ). What is the best way of accomplishing that?

PS: Platform: Linux LDME.

PPS If there is a way to emulate the SPen using a graphics tablet I would like to know.
