ok now they are realy trying to tempt me, same place refurbed the price just dropped to 379

It's an outstanding device. In general, I'm not afraid of refurbs; they've gone through QC twice. If you are shy about it, check their return policy and back yourself up with a SquareTrade warranty. Google Square Trade coupons and you'll likely come up with a code for 20-30% off the price.

well i noticed frys,newegg,bestbuy, amazon now the 16 gig is 449 NEW so i will probably go new route

Well that is a nice device. I also have this device. And I use for my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 - White Shark Silicone Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard with leatherette Case. It has so many unique features.

You should get it. That's a pretty good price since the note 10.1 is a really good device.
