Is "Titan Grey" supposed to be similar to what's on the Gnex?
Honestly, I'm ready for a white phone. My ancient WinMo phone was white and I really liked it.

I like the charging light - wonder how many people that will annoy who take their phones to bed with them tho! lol
I'm guessing that's a charger that also secures the phone so no one steals it. Just a guess. If it is the real deal, I'll just use another cable, I have a gazillion of em.
The grey looks cool. I'm not sure though. Seen the white and I like it but it seems to be a trendy color aka it's everywhere. Black might be coming back in style

White, but the back cover will be covered with a custom, thin skin protector from either Unique Skins or Skinit. Kinda wish they kept the pebble blue. It's closer to my favorite color.

Speaking of the back cover, I have gone through so many of those back cover folios for my Note 1 that its not even funny. I keep getting the sides torn up or ripped.
Too bad they can't make them a bit more stronger or harder in materials.
Treb, I live in the UK and have had the grey for a week. It looks fantastic and much more 'interesting' than a matte phone. I have had a 3GS since 09 and glad to have a more 'manly' colour - metal grey just looks cool and is quite distinctive. It does feel plasticky but not in a bad way, it feels well made and is quite light for its size.
It does feel substantial enough though and is quite a satisfying piece of kit to hold. The very loud and clear speakerphone along with the stunning screen definately draws stares in the office.
I would go for grey only as I would find a white border whilst watching films or any other media a bit of a distraction, the grey makes the screen seem brighter and brings colours out more in my eyes (though I have not seen the white irl - it is what I believe would happen). The white looks a little cheap too from pics I have seen.
Just curious if the folks that have this device already are happy w/ the color they got ? Especially, would like to hear from folks that got the Grey.
Hi,
yeah i ordered the grey one as i always prefer a darker colour phone. (Just personal preference i guess), i have had it for a day and love it. I have a jet black rubber case around it and it looks really good. Love it.
Never really been a fan of white phones/tablets so I'll be going with the Titanium Gray. From the Engadget review, the Titanium gray looks pretty sweet IMO.

Well i have a white Note 10.1 tablet and it does not show off fingerprint smudges on the bezel or back as much as my black Note 5.1 phone. That sucker is a fingerprint whore. So I don't know, The Titanium Grey looks really nice but I would like to have a white Note 2 to match my tablet.
Decisions decisions, arrgghh. Too bad these colors are not in stores to see them up close. (well the white can be found in other models)

No "undecided" column?...Since there's not gonna be a Best Buy pre-order, I'm not going to make my decision until I'm in the store. That said, if they are out of stock on one color, but the other is available, that's the one I'm going with...LOL.
I was pretty much set on getting white, but there's something about the Grey that makes me think it looks MUCH better than the pictures and videos, which aren't really doing it justice.
Went for the white as I think the 'brushed' effect Samsung does with the blue s3 and the grey note 2 is a bit cheap looking. Fair enough if it was solid metal but in plastic it just looks a bit off.
I WAS set on white but I just don't like it as much any more. Liked it on the Note1 more for some reason.
Wish it was more of an off-white.
But, what really sold me was the LIVE pictures of the Titanium Gray. The mock up from Samsung makes it look pale and too light but all the videos and real life photos of it reveal it to be VERY NICE to my eyes.

That's partly the reason I was considering getting the Grey. I'd just get a secondary cover in white, and it would make me reminisce (slightly) of the original EVO! Except, the grey would probably look a lot nicer than the black was on the Evo (too plain).
From what I've seen through Google searching, there were a lot of replacement battery covers released for the Note 1 (aftermarket and some OEM). Was the Note 1 NFC enabled? And if it was, did it have NFC on the back cover?
