I am hoping to get this on 3 due to the unlimited data plans although not actually from 3 as their locked down apn settings are a nightmare. Hopefully some of the big sellers will have these for pre order soon, surprised they haven't already really as I had my dhd on pre order from mobile phones direct for a long time before they actually had them in stock.

I don't think I'll pre-order because I want to wait til the price comes down a little bit, as I'm importing it to the States. Hopefully it launches with 64GB.

They did me with the GS3 - Took my money when they where delayed stock by a week - I bought elsewhere & got a refund from them.

I have pre-ordered the GN2 from them, hopefully they'll delivery on time this time.

Got the Note at the moment and it's amazing, not too bothered about the Note 2 though as there's not much difference, the only decent changes being the bigger size and Jellybean. Having said that I'll probably get this as my next phone or might wait until the Note 3.

I'm looking to preorder my Note 2 international version and so far I'm stuck between choosing from either handtec.co.uk or clove.co.uk
Where are you buying yours from?

I've heard a lot of good things about clove--either way the G'Note 2 on both sites says they won't have it til Sept. 28th.

I am looking to pre order immediately as the money is burning a hole in my pocket. I'm curious to see the price of the 32gb though. I might just go and do it. I'd probably feel a bit more comfortable it was a company I knew though Amazon or play etc.

Bit of an update guys. I've just come off the phone to these guys after asking them a few questions Unlocked Mobiles.com | Sim Free Mobile Phones and they said to me it should be coming before the end of september also. I'm gonna whack my pre order down here, either way we should be getting our hands on it soon.

Now I just need to find somewhere to pre order some protective screen covers.

I hope this things hits the shops soon as the lg optimus g is due to be announced in a couple of days and that also looks very tempting so for me it could be a case of which handset hits the shops first on 3.

Ok so the shops are officially selling the note in the UK on October the 1st. I'm curious as to how the online companies work. Do they ship this out to us on this date so it will arrive Oct 2nd? So we will have to wait ONE WHOLE DAY for this beast? Or do they send it out early to actually arrive on the 1st. I pre ordered mine In hyper childish excitement, in reality I should have just waited and brought one next Monday from the stores. Anyone who works in a mail order company will have answers for me.

Which shops in the UK will sell an unbranded Note 2, if any? I can't really get to London to go to the Samsung store, will the likes of O2 etc sell them unbranded?

I've always bought online before but wouldn't mind just going into a shop this time.

The sales guy said that they would receive stock on the 1st and start sending out orders on the 2nd so I am not expecting anything until the 3rd or 4th

Hi, I'm looking to get the 32GB Note 2, since I think 16GB might be too small for me even if I get the 64GB class 10 micro sd. I install apps, and some large games so I'll need the extra space. I guess I need it to take pictures, possibly put my music directly on the phone too.... I'm from the UK

Everywhere only talks about a 16GB version? I have to upgrade soon, and would rather not end up with a 16GB version, then i'll have to root it to move applications and there'll be that inconvenience of only having 16GB space, actually 10GB free because Jelly Bean and all the samsung apps will take up allot of space.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I've got a note and have 6gb free on SD card and 8gb free on the phone. I have around 130 apps and lots of music etc. Just use Apps to SD where possible. You may need to wait for the bigger memory phones.

I have just seen some articles on how carriers in Korea are only offering the 32gb and 64gb versions for now?
Hopefully very very soon we'll get pricing info and I hope it's available in the 32gb version at launch in the UK - Monday/Tuesday.
What are your thoughts?

I really wanted a phone with the s4 pro CPU but the xioami phone 2, nor the lg Optimus g didn't have a micro sd card slot. The asus padfone is coming out on the 16th I think...
And htc with their 5 inch full hs smartphone y probably won't have a micro sd.

Of course the huge size of the note 2 and the removable battery is massive plus.
Build quality of the xioami is questionable, and I wouldn't be surprise if lg take 2 years to upgrade to jelly bean :P
Htc does seem nice though - 64gb internal would be okay.
Padfone looked like it would have great specs, apart from the battery size.

Shame I can't get the s4 pro with the 320gpu.. But I mostly just browse the web and watch videos on my phone, so I guess the note 2 will more than suffice, possibly even for 2 years. Just waiting on the 32gb version now

Thank you
Unless you download 500+ apps/games, you won't need more internal storage.

I was having problems with a reboot loop on my motorola photon and discovered it was due to apps that were moved to the sd. The photon is partitioned with 3gb for apps only and 8.92gb for anything else. I haven't moved any of the 197 apps over to the "sd" (e.g. Internal sd card/storage) and still haven't reached capacity.

16gb internal storage will only be an issue if you download hard file movies...which is part of the reason I want a 64gb, even though I doubt it releases in the US.

Just waiting on the 32gb version now
If I could get an international phone, no question it'd be the padfone 2.

I would be surprised if the 32GB and 64GB are available on launch in the UK as online mobile stores like clove etc have said there's no news on even a 32gb version.

http://blog.clove.co.uk/2012/09/25/samsung-galaxy-note-ii-shipping-next-week/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=samsun g-galaxy-note-ii-shipping-next-week

Other stores selling it Phones 4 u etc mention nothing of it. I know the Samsung store in London are selling the 16gb version Oct 1st though. If the 32gb and 64GB versions were going to be anywhere I would think there.

May be worth giving the store a call? Samsung Flagship Store - Westfield Stratford, London

I wouldn't mind a 32GB version or 64GB version but because I buy my mobiles sim free I'm not sure if I could justify the price which I imagine would be substantial. The 64gb Micro SD will be more than enough a total of 80gb on a mobile is good enough for me.

When/if it gets full. I delete stuff

Here's the article

Samsung Galaxy Note II Kicks Off 'World Tour' in Korea | TechnoBuffalo

And I'm trying to call samsung but they're busy

Turn's out they're doing some renovation of some sort, and I was told to call back tomorrow. I think It would be rather daft if they didn't release the 32GB one at launch....

Just pulled the trigger on the white version from Amazon UK for 529.99.

Says released on 16th Oct, but that might change. I guess I can wait a bit longer... I hope.

Interestingly the grey version from Amazon UK says released 1st November.

The White Note 2 is released tommorow if you can make your way to London to get it.

I rang the actual samsung store though, they have no idea regarding the titanium grey model. Disappointing, they don't actually know and they are an official samsung store.
