I picked up one of the classic leather cases from Wanchai Computer Centre in Hong Kong yesterday.
For something as large as the Note II, I think I prefer a flip case which has more protection than the official clip case (which replaces the back cover).
Just picked it up because it's the Gold Box Deal of the day and much cheaper than the normal rate...plus, no monthly fees since info is stored on your own hard drive.

I think I saw the link here but I can't find out anymore.someone posted a link to a pouch case with a sort of magnet at the back to make fishing out the device easier

Yes, Its an additional S-pen that is also a bluetooth speaker with mic that is really marketed to the Note 10.1 tablet users, but can be used with the Note 2.

TS, do you remember if the hm5100 comes with an eraser tip on the back end of the pen?
Scroll to the bottom and you'll see a bunch of pictures of the BT S-Pen.
Cool. Thanks. I remember one of the videos mentioning something about an eraser (but maybe they were saying that it would've been cool if they integrated that type of functionality).

From top to bottom, there's the original Galaxy Note S Pen, followed by the wand for the Note 10.1 tablet, an aftermarket pen with an "eraser" tip, and the S Pen Holder Kit, which has a wider, more comfortable rubber grip and comes with an extra S Pen to slip inside.
There is a version of a S-Pen upgrade kit or holder that does have an eraser tip, but I would need to search for it.

This is one thing I don't understand about Samsung - why are these products so hard to find or get information on? These should all be on one page, next to one another, with descriptions, prices and ready to order. It seems ******ed that we have to search like crazy for details on existing products! Or am I crazy?
Device(s): Note 2 (AT&T) - OG Evo (Sprint) is now a root toy!
Carrier: Not Provided

I didn't look at the link, so feel free to slap me if I'm incorrect. Is it maybe because that one doesn't fit in the phone slot, so they don't list it as a phone accessory?
Okay, so I took a look at those. Thanks for posting those up, SandaLeX! Eraser one is a 3rd party manufacturer, which I'm not likely to go with...but, that S-Pen holder kit is pretty darn cool. They didn't show the Bluetooth S-Pen in there, so I wonder if it's around the same size as the S-Pen kit.

@Wangta
Totally agree with you. Now even if the accessory is not made by them, if they don't make it then they should point to an aftermarket one that does. (Ex: the one with the eraser)
@drex
As for the compare of the S-Pen kit vs the Bluetooth one, I believe there is a xda thread that does show comparisons, since a few have ordered them.

Samsung is not going to do that unless it's an authorized reseller.
Not every 3rd party seller is reputable.
Why do they show a picture of the Note 1? Weird. It's not like the Note 2 pictures aren't all over the place now.
It happens alot with this company. I bought a case from them last week for my new ipod touch 5th generation and most of the pictures were of the same case on an iphone 5.

Just had a thought and so far haven't been able to find an answer.
When you remove the S-Pen from the phone you get the pop up S-Pen apps.
How do you access those same apps if you're not removing the S-Pen from the phone but using the BT S-Pen instead? Is that what the Multi-function would be used for?
Granted, it's really a crap-shoot if this turns out to be an OEM battery, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. There are several different options.
I still intend on getting the Samsung charger w/ desk stand at some point, but this will serve its purpose in the meantime, while I'm waiting for that to be released.
I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole. I bought quite a few of those types of batteries (not that one in particular) and they do charge up but do not last as long.
I have bought their batteries in the past as well as their counterpart Anker and both last as long as the OEM and their universal charger is awesome. In fact the current Note 1 battery fits in the expandable charger that I bought for my Photon 4G batteries. But it won't fit the new one which is a bit larger.

The battery looks OEM, the charger I am not so sure.

Got one but im still not sure about it, its a pain with it being joined to the back cover as if i want to change covers you have to keep taking the battery cover on & off, also the way you hold it, it gets very dirty on the inside cover.
But after saying all that it does look nice

Thank you sir. You're right - it looks great! Do you feel like it has enough substance to protect against a drop?
on the edges and back. Its a 5.5" screen! If you drop it I'd be amazed if it didnt break. You need to be realistic with these things. Although I dropped my note 1 with no case and amazingly it survived with little more than a ding.
Ohhh, I like! It gives the phone the same look as if there weren't a case, I think, and other colors are great. The red is nice! I want purple!!! :P Doesn't look like it adds too much bulk, either. Would like to see a review after someone has it in hand.
The one thing that worries me with any case is the S-pen placement. Doesn't seem to be any way to protect that corner and that's where most phones hit when they drop - the corner. I'm a phone dropper so a good case is a must for me.
Announced at IFA 2012, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 follows its predecessor with a focus on creativity. The device improves the experience by adding more S-Pen functionality and new-generation specs, not to mention the slightly larger 5.5-inch display... Read More
