I'm sure it was worded this way so that some think they are saving $200 but when their feet is to the fire, the store says, "No, we mention that $499 is the 2 year price."

No one will pay 499 on a two-year agreement... Unless it is the Note 3 and we can get it tomorrow.

Hey guys, should I be worried if I haven't been charged yet? Saw a few of you were charged and I went and checked my account and order status right away, but still the same result as before. Received confirmation as soon as I ordered a week ago. It's probably just me being too antsy, but just wondering just to be sure if it's normal for some people to be charged a little later than others.

I believe they are processing in order of order date. My card was charged at around 3pm. Ordered 11:45pm on 10/24.

The people I have seen post that theirs was charged are those who ordered around midnight. But I am sure later orders will get CC charged soon

I ordered 11/1 and was charged a while ago. I'm hoping for a Wednesday delivery, but I'm just glad there is some action after a month of waiting.

Thanks! I actually just got charged a few minutes ago, so excited! This is the first time I've ever been excited about Verizon taking my money, lol. It's $735, but this is the last phone I'll need for a long time.

just checked mine say MY ORDER WILL SHIP 11/27! I have an order # now as well. I feel bad though I want to buy it through Walmart and get $100 gift card per phone. Its a big savings. Anyone know how fast walmarts online wirless company gets phones that have been just released? is there usually a delay or will they have it 11/29 too?

So, I know this doesnt mean a whole lot, but CS Chat just told me that tomorrow is the actual release date and phones will be in stores tomorrow as well. If this is true I hope they shipped all you pre-order people's orders over night. It would suck to pre-order and get it a day later than any ol schmoe wandering into a store tomorrow.

FYI, the Costco link says AT&T, so don't order it if you are with Verizon...

Ordered today, charged a few minutes ago and also have an order number now. 1st post. I'd like to thank everyone for all the info in here. Been an iPhone user since day 1. Very excited about learning a brand new OS. I'm not an iPhone hater at all, it definitely has its place in the market.

Ugh. Haven't been charged yet but I just confirmed with 2 reps the sales rep and the Internet sales team that they will ship on 11/27 tomorrow...and be in hand 11/29. 2 day shipping it sounds like not overnight.

I was getting antsy too bc I hadn't gotten charged yet and I ordered at midnight on 10/24 and in top of that the phone is being shipped to me here at the hotel I'm at.

Okay everyone take this with a grain of salt please!

I just called my Verizon store asking why I haven't received my shipment info and this is what he said, "Original shipment date was suppose to be the 23rd but Sammy pushed the date back to fulfil the demands." This is what Mr. Skinner told me, he said the moment it's in his hands he'll text me and bam it'll be in my hands. So shipment date is 27th...... But could also be any moment

Yep they'll ship tomorrow and be in hand 29th,

Now I HOPE they're not in store tomorrow that would be annoying and defeat the point of a preorder.

I was hoping we would get the phone in hand by the 28th. When I've ordered replacements for my Droid X, I'm pretty sure they came overnight. Anyways I'm glad it's only two days after the ship date that we get our phones and not a week plus.

My order changed from "Order received and in process. Ship by 11/27/2012" (same thing it's said since I pre-ordered on 10/26, to "There was an error processing your order. Please refer to the email that was sent for further details."

I waited a few minutes and no email, so I called *611 and the CSR couldn't find out what was going on, so he contacted the Internet Sales department and transferred me to a manager there. The manager said that the pre-orders aren't going as smoothly as he had planned and there are some glitches they're working out.

He cancelled my order and put in a new pre-order. Then he did something (forgot what he called it) that puts my new pre-order back into the first batch shipping out tomorrow like it was originally supposed to.

Yeah, don't expect your phone to ship before tomorrow (11/27). The Internet Sales Manager said the first batch will be shipping tomorrow. Although my new confirmation email says ship today (11/26).


He said he's had a couple of calls about this "error processing order" already, so if yours changes to that, call them right away and get a new pre-order put in. They are shipping out pre-orders in the order they were received. The people that pre-ordered early will obviously get their shiny new Galaxy Note II before those that pre-ordered later. That's why many of you that have ordered later, like within the past couple weeks or so says "Check back tomorrow" instead of an actual ship date.

I wouldn't presume to guess, but you can call *611, then press "4" and use the automated system to check your order status. Seems that it's a little more up to date than the web page at the moment.

Chill out man. I think he just means it would be a shame for us to have to wait even longer than opposed to just walking into the story and buying one considering we committed to giving money to Verizon in advance. It's not so much about wishing others won't get it before us, but more like a knock on Verizon for not taking care of their pre-orderers before taking care of their general stock. It's a legitimate complaint if it did happen, but it rarely does so I don't think there's anything to worry about either way.

I waited a few minutes and no email, so I called *611 and the CSR couldn't find out what was going on, so he contacted the Internet Sales department and transferred me to a manager there. The manager said that the pre-orders aren't going as smoothly as he had planned and there are some glitches they're working out.

He cancelled my order and put in a new pre-order. Then he did something (forgot what he called it) that puts my new pre-order back into the first batch shipping out tomorrow like it was originally supposed to.

Yeah, don't expect your phone to ship before tomorrow (11/27). The Internet Sales Manager said the first batch will be shipping tomorrow. Although my new confirmation email says ship today (11/26).


He said he's had a couple of calls about this "error processing order" already, so if yours changes to that, call them right away and get a new pre-order put in. They are shipping out pre-orders in the order they were received. The people that pre-ordered early will obviously get their shiny new Galaxy Note II before those that pre-ordered later. That's why many of you that have ordered later, like within the past couple weeks or so says "Check back tomorrow" instead of an actual ship date.
Thanks I was getting the same error message on my online order, (did it over phone on 11-23) and called VZW, rep canceled my order and re ordered, no delays in shipping so it's not like it's going to delay me getting it. apparently hopefully just speeded up the process.

My order shows on VZW as blank, nada, no status, no update, no ship date. I have no credit card purchase or hold for the charge either!

Getting worried now.

Make sure you're using the pre-order number, not the order number.

I don't think anyone had a choice in the matter. It never asked what shipping speed I wanted. Pretty much two-day shipping for all pre-orders from all the different phone launches I could remember.

We pre-order with the expectation that we will get one even if it sells out, and that we will have it at the same time as the stores, or possibly earlier (my brother got his S3 five days before the in-store release). To get the device to the pre-order people AFTER the in-store release, would not make any sense at all. Pre-order customers are the ones who are the most interested in the device and have shown the highest level of commitment to purchasing the device. We don't expect to be punished by having to wait 2 extra days - that's all.

I see that the charge is pending on my credit card, however I'm getting exactly what everyone else is getting - my order update doesn't show a tracking number.

I called two Best Buy's as both were in the process of unloading a truck when I called earlier.

In short, no phone tonight but one store said they are expecting another truck tonight or early tomorrow and if they have it, they will sell it. They did say it is to launch on the 29th.

The Verizon store said they do not have it and he does not know when they will get it.

No doubt there will be a few lucky people with their hands on one tomorrow.

No there is something to it. $300 (or in many cases, including me, $700+) guaranteed to Verizon without product in hand. This isn't an iPhone launch. There aren't going to be lines of people waiting at stores solely for the device. The majority of people who are highly interested in the device preordered it.
