I could be wrong, but I am guessing it will in an hour. After I log in, it will take me to a page with all of the phones except for the one I want. I expect it to be there after midnight. I hope so anyway. I would hate to know I lost sleep for no reason.
Gee look at that folks I'm 1 for 1! The release date is NOVEMBER 29th. Not October. Do not trust a VZW customer service rep, they have no idea about release dates on phones. Just trust me, you can take my work to the bank. We have one month left until we can get our hands on this baby. Don't get your hopes up!

I'm gonna stay up until midnight to see if it happens as well. 10:10 now, maybe I'll get lucky at 11:00 , which is midnight on the east coast

I'm dead serious ravis. You'll be able to walk into any Verizon tomorrow to pre-order your Note 2. Or do it online. But you won't have it til November 29th. Verizon would never announce a pre-order for a phone 4 days before it launches. It's always at least a couple weeks before like it was with the S3. Same principle here my friend.
I think that person is spam...not sure though. Just ignore.
I'm not spam. I guaranteed that pre-orders will be available at midnight, I was right. I guarantee the launch is November 29th. Which you will see is right as well.
Why would I create an account just to come on here and randomly post fake dates for a phone? I have proof but sorry I'm not going to show you. I'm just as excited for this phone as you guys and when I got word of the pre-order/release date I decided to share. The phone comes out November 29th. Just trust me sir
There are bots and mischievous individuals who do EXACTLY that.
You have made your point clear that you seem to have some type of information to validate your claims. I think the thread gets that. I respectfully ask that you stop posting about that.
you are a new account and your posts are seemed as suspicious to members here. Many times during a launch of a device, lots of folk come out of the woodwork to claim they have certain insider information that the general public does not. Many times those individuals are fake.
So to keep confusion down I respectfully ask that you not continue to speak on what you may "claim" to know. Should the staff get more reports of you continuing to post such claims, you may see an infraction, warning or a combination of both. Repeated postings on what you claim to know can and will result in a ban, so please I respectfully ask you cease such posts.
Pre launch threads can be exciting. Let's all do our part to keep the thread on topic and in good fun.
Best wishes to all...

I was all the way in, had it in my cart but did not see a date so I just couldn't commit... Would also really like to see one in the store before I press buy, even if I have to go to the T-Mobile store to see one.. Oddly, while I was in and even had in my cart, the online chat person couldn't help at all with a ship date or other question (such as if the 4G SIM from my Galaxy Nexus would work in the Note 2 or not... -- anyone here know? I think they changed form factors between the Thunderbolt and Galaxy SIII, so didn't know about others..)

Hi All, I just ordered mine and got the confirmation email. Ship date says 10/24 but I'm sure the pre-order system is still messed up. Here's my conf email, doesn't show it was a note 2 I ordered, and if you are curious about the price of $1500, it's because I ordered 2 of them, one grey and one white for my wife and I. Both are off on contract so I had to pay full price.
Thanks to those folks w/ the screen shots. Hopefully that can clear things up in here. Just curious whst time zone you guys are in?
Central, so I'd imagine its open for everyone now. Why does Verizon have to be so damn quiet and slow to the game with everything? Sigh. Still haven't seem an "official" release date from them yet they are taking pre orders.
I'm not sure what I can and can't say, but a ship date of the 27th means it should arrive on the 29th, which looks like is the release date. Shipping for pre-orders to the local Verizon store is almost always two days.

Central for me also.

I'm in central as well & still nothing. Hmmmm....come on Big Red.

Guess this is standard Galaxy on VZW protocol? Preordering starts with everyone else, but devices ship a month out rather than right away or one or two weeks like other carriers. Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 pre-orders arriving today
Went in again (also central) and this time it shows 11/27 ship date. Ugh. I mean I've checked the calendar and am having trouble figuring out how this even aligns with "Black Friday" which by my calculations is 11/23... This feels so much like last year and all of my Galaxy Nexus release date pain and agony.

I think this is more set than that since you can put the order in atleast. Think most SIII stuff worked out just as suggested per my second link showing peeps getting them just before the promised date and just after ship date.

Yes this seems much more solid than the GNex experience/rollercoaster. This has at least been officially announced and communicated by both Samsung and Verizon -- most of the GNex/Verizon stuff was insider tips/rumors/innuendo. At least we have pre-orders and ship dates, so the odds of them delaying due to unknown issues or "network issues" or "software issues" are much lower... Ugh, the memories...

Maybe, Maybe not. My email was posted up earlier, you can take a look. It says "Ship by" not order date. Who knows, I tried checking status earlier and it said in process, and then tried now and the page is down. Probably to many people on it trying to order at once.

I'm hoping it does ship out soon..
The DL article I linked suggested this exact same auto preorder e-mail bug for the SIII orders on June 6th when they weren't shipping until July 9. Early orders were getting June 6th ship dates in e-mails. VZW ended up sending out Oops emails for the confusion. Guess their automated system still has some launch bug that causes this??

Perhaps, or maybe you are ruining my dream that I'll be the first one on these forums with a Verizon GN2?

;P
Spose you NEVER know. There is something odd about these latest Samsung launches. Would think the goal would be and apple like universally available launch. Although I know iPhone peeps that got their 5's already from Apple and others still waiting for theirs from carrier placed orders. So maybe this is all coordinated better than it might seem.

Oh really? Where is my 64 gb or 32 for that matter! At this point, im not even sure it exists?
At least with Apple, you knew they were all available at the same time!
I'm still confused on the bands? Does the Verizon version also have a sim card slot? I travel a lot and need to use local sims. Can I unlock and use GSM sims while traveling?
Kudos to my buddy AJ in the S3 Watering Hole on his suggestion for removing the Verizon logo from the home button on the Note 2...very funny. Galaxy S3 Watering Hole
I'm out....can't wait any longer.
