Does anyone have one of these? I am really curious how well it fits the back. I am hesitant to buy anything from overseas for this much money that actually is not made by Samsung to fit on the back with the tiny notches. Thanks
I just got both my cases in. The translucent one seems a bit thin. The hard case seems to be the same type I had on my Evo up until recently. I am still waiting on Best Buy to release the phone so I can't really say much as far as fitment goes.

I never saw the point of a phone case unless your playing catch with it or giving it baths in your toilet. The phone is also big enough as it is and I wouldn't want to add anymore bulk to it.
I just recieved this case today from Samsung and all I have to say is wow! I am impressed. Very nicely made. It's like a hard case on the back but a stiff TPU case around the front edge so you can easily remove the case if needed. All of the edges of the phone are also protected from scratches. even the power and volume buttons are covered over with the TPU material with raised buttons. The only thing left to find out is how it will wear over time but as far as slim cases go, this one is a winner. It will even fit in the multimedia dock with this case on.

thanks for the review that is the same case that I want. I did notice on eBay there is a glacier white version that is not on the samsung website.

How long did it take for you to get it?

I had a slim hard case for my Evo and the phone has survived several hits.
I decided and purchased the seidio active combo black. I should get in 2 days. I wanted a belt clip and the kickstand will come in handy. too bad the only color available right now is black. oh well.
I need help deciding on a case.
I broke my Evo 4g and bought the Note 2...Its awesome.
When doing research I really wanted it but talked myself into the S3 instead but when I went to buy it and compared them side by side I couldnt not get the Note 2.
Anyway now I have this huge awesome phone and im terrified im going to break it. Not only is it huge its slippery as heck
So whats the best case out there that protects it without adding a TON of extra size?
I had a Ballistic case for the Evo and it was too big to use and I never did.
I contacted Trident and they wont be out til Dec
and I asked Otterbox and they said they were working on it but I have no idea.

I'm waiting on the white one. I'm batting 0 for 2 so hopefully I'll actually like this one.
I got mine on Election Day.. and I don't even have my phone yet. I think I will be happy with it. The rubber on the sides does help add grip. I've just never gone for cases that overlay the buttons. I think having the material over the power and volume buttons will help reduce how easy it is to press them by accident.
I put the order through at Samsung on November 1st.

this can be a silly question... but... did you order that case directly from the samsung site???
can i not order online? it looks like it's available...
thanks for your help...
That particular case is available online which is where I purchased the same case. The flip covers, I'm guessing, aren't quite available for online purchase and will most likely be sold within the carrier stores. Might wanna check out some T-Mobile/Sprint stores and see if they have any stock of them.

I placed my other on the 4th so hopefully it'll be here soon. Did you offer the battery/charging dock too?
Order the charging dock? Do you mean the desktop dock? No, I didn't order it. I may down the road... but I want to see it in action first.
I ordered the Allshare Cast dongle off Ebay (cheaper for brand new.) That is something I will definitely use. I do have a Samsung TV that should have it built in, but I just don't want to wait for a software update (if it ever comes) and I don't use the Wifi on the TV since I prefer cable.

Can you or someone please post a link to order this? I have looked everywhere. Thanks so much!
Ok, I found the link after I made this post. (My apologies for my stupidity) I finally called Samsung because everything I tried to do wouldn't allow me to order it. Samsung said it was out of stock & told me to check back daily. So I thanked her and hung up. Just for "kicks" I thought I would click the shop button again and it worked. So my advice is to just keep checking. And special thanks for the coupon code, worked perfectly. Thanks again everybody

I'm usually against using cases, but I've already purchased a dark blue flip cover (supposedly with NFC antenna) from ebay.
I have 2 custom back cover skins from Zagg (I don't care for their screen protectors, but they're the first to offer the custom rear skin, since unique skins and skinit don't have the Note 2 listed yet). For those of you interested in this, it's basically a rear screen protector and I posted the link and 20% discount coupon in the accessories thread.
I went for the official Smasung Flip Cover. (The one that you remove your battery cover completely) I am really liking it so far as I am not normally a case lover.

Yes the OEM flip case is a hot seller. Many of us have it. I have it in white. I don't mind using it indoors or out somewhere but for everyday protection, it offers none. That's one of those cases that'll keep you scared.
i know that's right. I ordered the samsung leather sleeve a couple days before getting the phone, but it didn't arrive in time. I'm using a temporary sleeve fashioned out of a bubble mailer to protect it. My wife thinks i've lost my mind.

I received mine today and I must agree it's a lot better I was expecting. The glossy back looks great and all the holes and cut outs are just right. The phone sits in perfectly, all this for a very cheap price.
So now I have this and my shocksock for work, this for general stuff out of work and the flip cover for going out (showing the phone off) what more could I want
