The cost of an item doesn't matter to customers. I'm going to say the same thing again AK, don't panic. Also, don't worry about the tracking info not changing. Shipping is generally done via Hong Kong Post or Royal Mail and is difficult to track until it hits the US and often times gets switched over to USPS where the tracking number you've been looking at will become different.
Yeah, they used KoreaPost. My first time ordering from Korea. I ordered something via Malaysia recently, but she used DHL (which was a nightmare in and of itself).
To be honest, I've had a lot of really bad experiences with shipping in stuff from other countries. Most of it hasn't worked out well.
So I have this other case coming. I'm gonna give it a go on Thursday and see whether or not it causes issues with the s-pen. If it does, it's going back.
Only difference on the Verizon version is the ugly label on the home button. All of the remaining physical dimensions are the same.
-EDIT-Forgot to mention the different battery that's listed on Samsung's website, but I don't know what is difference. You should check in the Verizon pre-release thread to see if it was discussed there.

I mentioned that because the customs in Singapore has a price threshold
I emailed Ballistic to see if they would make this series case for the Note II. Their response was:
Quote:
Thank you for your interest in our Ballistic cases. We will be producing a Ballistic SG case for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. This Ballistic SG case is available at US Cellular stores. We are expecting to release the Ballistic SG case in December on our Webstore. Please fill out the email notification on our webstore and we will notify you via email as soon as it is available. Unfortunately, we will not be producing a Ballistic SG Maxx, Every1 or HC case for the Galaxy Note 2 at this time.
I DON'T LIKE THE SG SERIES!!!! x(
I swear...it seems like these case makers don't care about anything but the iPhone (or the S III in some circumstances).

I really like the looks of that case! Does it close all the way?
What you mean by clsoe all the way?
You can fold it all the way to the back side, it has a magnet on the borders of the feame, also can be used as stand as you can see from my pic, is that what you was asking for?

I just meant when you close the front of the case does it sit flush? I bought one for my S3 and it didn't close the front of the flap all the way.
They're made in NYC and shipped so quickly it arrived WITH my phone yesterday. Has a glossy finish but is grippy. Also if you look closely it's got that rubber bouncy ball sparkles to it which is pretty coo. Love it so far. Adds VERY little height above the actual screen and bezel. Wide enough cut outs for all buttons/ports. S-Pen is easily accessible. Doesn't block camera at all.
Will try to take some pics later when I've got my galaxy Nexus or dig cam handy
Time for a really thin case like the clear one above. Day 1.5 with the note and out it went onto the black top. Couple nicks.
Still undecided as I can get the replacement sides for only $14.
I'd rather have a dock than a case, since there is not a powered dock that works with a case, I've just damaged the phone. O-well. Need that iBolt dock to get an idea on what it will do/work.

+1 to this - I have the same exact case in white and it is AWESOME. Adds very little to the overall profile of the phone. Phone sits nice and snug with no travel and the cut outs are exact! The white on white look I'm rocking looks so classy, haha!
I really really like it. It's very slim and the corners are protected a bit. There is the tiniest of lips next to the screen. So if I place the phone screen down I don't think the screen will really touch any surface. And the same goes for the camera lense.
The only thing that could make this case better would be a built in kickstand.
I would love to get this in different colors, but it has the soft touch finish and I think light colors would get really dirty. Just my personal opinion.
Still happy with the fit and protection level? I like how thin it is. I'm looking for some light drop protection, mostly from scuffs as I've dropped my phone on the driveway a few times from about 2 feet (small VW Jetta). Also, if I get a car dock, how easy is it to install and remove.

Pics or it didn't happen!
Seriously I'm sorry to read this. Are you okay? Cause I'm sure you stopped breathing and everything started moving in slow mo! Hurry up and get a case.
I've been stalking the iBolt folks. Last I read they had sent the dock for the Note 2 to tooling.
Does anyone know where I can get a case that also has a hard clear cover on the front? I've been trying to find something that encases the whole phone. I'm mostly worried about the screen and for some reason I can never apply a screen protector that doesn't look like a 2 year old slapped it on with saran wrap and spit.
I've gone through every page, but the only ones I see with flip covers are the replacement battery door ones which offer zero protection.. I want to know if there is a TPU style case with a flip cover. Do you know of one?
After a few days use, the phone has slipped out of this ZuGadget case multiple (at least 5) times since I started using it. Thankfully it hasn't fallen onto the floor or anything (it nearly did in Walmart yesterday) but I don't want to take the chance.
So hopefully this Spigen is a better option in the long run. I wanted one diary-type case and one regular hard back (so I'm still waiting on my Molang case to actually get out of Korea at this point).
I will give credit to the ZuGadget, it never gave me any magnet issues like people had been reporting about some of the other, similar, cases. But I want my phone to be safe and secure always.
If anyone is using the Illuzion case, what are your thoughts on it?

Have you checked my second case in the thread? its not replacing the back cover

Regarding the Illuzion case, never tried them but they look nice though the only problem i think they add more bulck to the phone
They're very different in terms of material. I'm hoping the phone clip (the thing that holds the phone in) is slightly higher than the ZuGadget one. The problem is, the one in the Zugadget is damn near flush with the phone, so it's not really HOLDING it very well.
Also, the Spigen one has a snap closure, so no magnets.
If I don't like this one either, I'm sending BOTH of them back. We'll see. Who knows how many of these things I'm going to go through at this rate.
Before purchasing the Note 2 I must have researched to death every case there was. I'm anal so my research consist of charts, graphs, #'s..... You name it.
The only thing that was conclusive were all these cases are the same. You're not getting any better quality if you spend $30 or 2. If you choose to go upscale.....Well that's a whole 'nutha thread.
eBay and Amazon and every other case site is all the rage with nothing but look-a-likes because they get their cases from the same distributor. Everyone who buys a case thinks they've gotten the "best" but have you all noticed yet one looks no different than the other?
The only case I've come across that sets itself apart from the rest is the one that comes in 5 colors and looks like it was made of crocodile (sorry no link to add here but it has been posted).

Yes, I've noticed the vast majority of the ones on Amazon are the same, just with different "brand" names on them. I assume, however, that Spigen makes their own cases, or is going to be like the rest? To me, it doesn't look like the other ones I've seen, in terms of material itself. But hell, I could be wrong, again. -.-
I just want my Molang to come, but it's still sitting in Korea Post. -.- They've assured me I can have a refund if it doesn't come in another 7 working days. Y.a.y.
I got the cheapo one from Verizon. It was only $15 with my discount, has a built-in kickstand and is very low profile. It also has a nice texture so you can grip it better. My only issue with it is that it doesn't protect the top and bottom metal edges.

Yep..... That's the one. I couldn't remember who posted it but I remember first seeing it on eBay. I need a case that retains the low profile with kickstand.
Yeah, the status has still gone unchanged. I'm really sad about it. Trying to decide if I want to bother with a resend or go with a different seller. This is only my third experience with ebay and this makes 2/3 bad experiences. Ugh.
I'm giving it until Wednesday (It's final expected day to arrive). Then I'll figure out what to do from there, I guess.
I've had my eyes on this dual guardian case from mob c and currently they haven't made a case for the note 2 so I'm playing another waiting game. WAITING has def become one of my hated words after waiting so long for my phone lol. they only currently make the case for the S3.

Announced at IFA 2012, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 follows its predecessor with a focus on creativity. The device improves the experience by adding more S-Pen functionality and new-generation specs, not to mention the slightly larger 5.5-inch display... Read More
