I agree. I wanted another pair I could trash and not worry about the loss. Oh well too late now. Box and headphones so far are my complaints. First phone I have purchased that I will not be saving the box for when I sell this phone.
Curious why AT&T would not include earphones. Is THAT why it took them so long to launch this phone! If so, that's crazy. And that orange box.....seriously!!!! Everyone else got the pretty white box.
They're as bad as Verizon when it comes to branding; but the earphones, that's just despicable! I had believed for the longest time you'd get them because even on Sprint site they don't show earphones as an in-box accessory but they were there.

dude.................are u serious no headphones.........................
Thanks for posting can't wait until tomorrow. Shame for $300 I couldn't get a pair of cheap headphones like Apple provides. What does the back of the phone look like with regard to AT&T branding. I don't see any on the front of the phone. Thank God they didn't mark the button like Verizon
AT&T is very specific in the packing list of what is included with the phone.
- and each of the Carriers negotiate with Samsung on every minute feature of what to provide, and what to omit.
They do sweat over every last penny. They figure the tech savvy owner of a Galaxy Note 2 will simply use his preferred headset.
And who here doesn't already have a drawer full of headsets ?
In today's economy - you only get what they say on the web site
- no more / and no less.

This is from Sprints site. Based on what you said I should've only rec'd a battery and charger.
This is what's on my box. Samsung at least gave me the phone in the box.
thankfully no dead pixels on my end. I am working on a picture of the back but I don't know how to make the files smaller on Android yet so they can be uploaded via web browser
Finally got a photo of the back online after probably everyone else has seen it.

wonder if AT&T pulled the headphones when they switched to their own packaging and if they will try and sell them off the shelves. Pretty sad with a $299 contract price tag.
Are you saying that your Spring GN2 came with headphones?
Yes it did which is why I'm surprised ATT pulled this stunt.

You may be on to something. I hope their not dumb enough to do this....can't begin to imagine the backlash.

I have pink beats that I absolutely love but they're not ideal for all purposes.....I know....a lot of people don't like beats. I'm not gonna lie. I got them for the mad bass.
I love the fact Samsung includes earphones. I don't have to use them but if I didn't have any I wouldn't be scrambling around ticked off about it

They did this with the Note 1; my wife's $199 Skyrocket had earbuds but my $300 note 1 did not; and now the Note 2 does not? WTF. For that they should wave the activation fee because that is how much a new pair costs.
I have a nice $50 set of Skull Candy, but it does not have a mic.
If you ever remember please post it.
Come on iBolt!!!!!
That looks like one of the ones that my local walmart sells. Let me see if I could google up the name on it.
I owned the one Im linking too, I havent tried it yet with the Note, but Ive used it several times with my HTC Inspire. Works good, the gooseneck is really stiff so it doesnt bounce around, and the locking suction cup works great.
Announced at IFA 2012, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 follows its predecessor with a focus on creativity. The device improves the experience by adding more S-Pen functionality and new-generation specs, not to mention the slightly larger 5.5-inch display... Read More
