Default galaxy note split screen problem

Hi All

newbie here, had my note 2 for about 4 weeks now and love it ,,,this morning i seem to have lost my split ccreen tab on left hand side of screen ....has anyone found it ? or know how to replace it (setting etc)

Indeed you are a legend. I bought my Note 2 last night from someone. It was pre-rooted and has India firmware on it, I thought I was going to have to flash it to get split screen as I couldn't see an option to get it. Now I can . Thank you .
