Angry ##########@vtext.com is blocked by Yahoo

UPDATE: Yahoo.com blocks ##########@vtext.com messages.
If you send from other email accounts, it works but not from Yahoo.

I used to be able to send text from my email to my phone by entering the phonenumber@vtext.com.
But not anymore. According to Verizon's vtext.com page, you should be able to do this:

Quote:
Text to mobile phone from E-mail, send and receive text messages from any email address in the world by addressing the email to your 10 digit mobile number, number@vtext.com, or your customnickname@vtext.com.

I just tested it and it works fine for me. I'm using Outlook 2010 on my PC and have a Verizon GN 2. The emails show up as a text message on the phone and I get a notification alert too.

It appears that Yahoo blocks sending text to vtext.com.
