Confused Anyone with Yahoo.co.uk/Mail

Hi
I have a Note II and GMail is installed on this. I am a fan of Yahoo but am not sure if it would be compatible with the Note II
Has anyone with this wonderful phone got Yahoo.co.uk ?

Would there be any disadvantage in un-installing GMail - if this is possible?

Hi, i have a UK yahoo email. I just installed the official yahoo email app from the play store, works wonderfully. You could get rid of Gmail but you need a Gmail account to access the play so easier to leave it.

I have various email accounts, including a gmail account I had before I moved to Android.

I disabled all syncing on the gmail account and linked my gmail account to the Samsung mail client along with all the others. That way I don't need separate apps for each email account.

The Email app that comes with the phone is very good and auto sets most of the required settings for all of the well known, and many of the more obscure webmail services. It's straightforward to use and supports the hover to preview with S-Pen too.

I can step by step if needed. It's well worth using the built in mail app in case you want to add others later and have them all in one place.
