Default Facebook "network error"

Just got the Note 2 yesterday. Everything seem fine, swap the mini SIM and it activated itself in a minute. Connect to home wifi and get all apps running, except once in a while the FB says "network error" though it updates posts, messages.....any thoughts ?

What's the problem and how to fix it ? It's annoying

Hello, am_beagle...

There's really no one click solution to this type problem unfortunately. First thing you can do... uninstall/reinstall the application. Sometimes wiping the data just isn't enough - you might have a corrupt installation of this app.

Let's know if this works. I'll keep an eye on your thread.

Good luck.
(By the way, the Note 2 is a pretty sweet device. )

This happens to me on both the 10.1 Note and Note 2. Conditions include strong signal both cell and wifi. Maybe the problem lies with the Facebook network.

it's Facebook's terrible app. I get this a lot on my Nexus 4.

Hello, threads on this topic go back several years however I'm seeing this issue today. Is this still a known problem with the Facebook App? Surely this should have been resolved by now? Thanks.

I haven't had this problem with Facebook app in the last few months. Do you have the latest Facebook app? You will also see Network problem if you have problem with your data connection.
