Default Home screen place notifier?

The dot on the homescreen that lets you know what page your on, is there a way to remove it? I only have one screen so its uselessly sitting there bugging me.

I don't know for certain, but I would suspect that the only way to avoid that is to use a different launcher from the market or root and install a custom ROM.

I really don't mind touchwiz though, I prefer keeping that ROM in tack, and as far as the launcher, same thing, I like the built in customizations. its just that one thing that bothers me.

You can use Nova launcher and just make the changes you want and you won't know that you are not using only TouchWiz.
