welcome to the forums!!!!!!!!!

i moved you to the note 2 forum where folks who have your device can help you out better.

now as far as apps go, what do you plan on doing? there are so many apps out now so it would help us to know what you are looking for.

as far as the multi window, since i do not have your device, i can't help you there to much. i believe that only some of the apps have multi tasking capabilities, but i'm not sure which ones.....maybe the ones that come with the phone?

I swear I'm on YouTube constantly. I have subscribed to Lamar Wilson, MKBHD, & a host of other Android / tech pages. I haven't gotten any studying done but my Note 2 is a BOSS!

You can get a lot of your questions answered by just reading through this forum. It's pretty hard to come up with something that hasn't already been asked and answered, plus you'll find answers to questions you didn't even know to ask.

Welcome to the forum!! I fully agree with nlitenme. Go to Youtube and watch "The Daily Note II: Galaxy Note 2 Vids" by Lucidmike78. I have learned a lot.

I'd suggest reading through all the different links in the FAQ thread that is stickied at the top of the Note 2 forum. There are lots of helpful tidbits that'll give you ideas on what to do with your phone and how you can set it up for your needs. Every individual has different needs. Not everyone will have the same needs and the most advantageous part of Android is being able to set your phone up, specifically for you to make the phone work best for you. The best part about that is you don't even need to root the phone, just to get the phone working the way you want it. Rooting can be explored, once you have the basics of what you want the phone to do for you and can take what you've already customized and bring it to a whole different level (later down the line).
