if you hate Kies Air as much as i do this might just be the answer. WiFi File Transfer Pro. the paid version, PRO ($1.50usd) gives unlimited file transfer size. the free version lets you use it but with a 4mb file size limit. There are other similar free apps in the store, but this one seems to have the best UI and works best for me. I just mentioned it in someone elses thread, but Solid Explorer is the best I've used by far. I discovered it when someone else posted in these forums:

That app not only functions as a file explorer program on your phone, but you can set up a private FTP to swap files back and forth wirelessly from your CPU to your phone and vice versa. It allows access to both internal and external storage.
