Default Any upcoming price drop for the tmobile off contract note 2?

I was very close to pulling the trigger on the t889 prepaid (off contract) tmobile note 2 for $649 plus tax online but held off once I saw $649 has been the price for 6+ months. With the S4 release event in two days I figured there may be a price drop coming shortly and tmobile support said there is no price protection policy. I could return within 20 days online but restocking and shipping fees would likely eat up the most of the price drop.

I did see there was a newegg deal for the international note 2 but figured the lack of future LTE functionality was a deal breaker.

Any advice if I should buy it now or wait a couple weeks?

The phone is still $650 but now they are including a $50 refill card with purchase. "Limited time offer."
