Not sure what you want. I use Hackers Keyboard which allows me to call up the keyboard whether there is an app open to type in or not. I use Rotation Lock Adaptive (Free) which gives me the ability to set the orientation of the screen to what ever I want and keep it there. So I can have the keyboard always where and how I want it.

Kinda confused about what you're asking. Can you clarify? Maybe take some screenshots and draw in where you would want the keyboard to show up in landscape? If you're in portrait mode, the keyboard should still show up in landscape format on the bottom half of the screen.

Sorry for the lack of clarity in my previous post.

When screen rotation is on, you can rotate galaxy note2 to get a bigger keyboard (landscape/widescreen mode).

While when screen rotation is off, keyboard will only appears in portrait mode, which is small and sucked so badly.

I just wanted the keyboard to appear in horizontal/landscape as default.
Just like when you launch most of the gaming apps in galaxy note 2 which will run in landscape mode as default (even when screen rotation is off), I wanted my keyboard to be that way.

And I wanted to kept my screen rotation mode off.

This still makes absolutely no sense to me. The keyboard Always is in landscape mode regardless of holding the phone in portrait position or landscape (because the keyboard will position itself at the bottom of the screen).

Are you saying that, when you hold your phone in portrait mode, you want the keyboard to stay on the right or left side of the screen so you can just turn the phone and use a bigger keyboard layout? If that is what you are saying, I don't know if it is possible.

As far as I know, the keyboard always displays at the bottom of the phone whether holding the phone in landscape or portrait.

How can you use the keyboard to type into an app that is showing in portrait mode with a landscape keyboard?

Kind of sounds like you want the phone to be defaulted to landscape even the home screen. There are many ways to achieve that fron using Nova Launcher to using Rotation Lock Adaptive (Free) and more.
