Default What android version is the vzw note2 and will it be up to date?

What android version is the Verizon note 2 at? Any idea if the phone Will get the latest android version?

It is Android 4.1.1 and I believe if you search it shows that our phone is destined to get Android 5 (scheduled, I believe, to be announced in May) eventually. However there is no telling exactly when Verizon will do that.

Currently, we're on 4.1.1 (like whitecollar said) which is 3 versions behind the most current. Unfortunately, VZW is notorious for being behind on updates. If you're going to stay stock, just get used to it. Otherwise, root it & load whatever you want on it.
