Default Phone locks up

Just got the Galaxy Note 2 on T-Mobile (switched from iPhone).

Have had it four days now and in that time the system has locked up twice. Both times the only way to get it to work was to remove the battery and put it back in.

I have advanced task killer set to kill programs every half hour so I don't think that is the cause.

Anyone else had the same problem and fixed it? Please let me know.

ATK is probably one of the worst apps you can put on your phone. Try uninstalling it and see what happens.

Is there a better app out there for this kind of thing?

You really don't need a task killer. The system manages the memory fine without it. I agree--get rid of the task killer.

Just let Android do it's thing! It's really good at managing apps.
